Virtual Partner
One of the features of the Garmin Forerunner 201 GPS is called the virtual partner. You can set how far you want to run and how fast. The screen will show you how far ahead or behind you are someone who is running that pace. I went out again at lunch and set the distance for 7.5 miles and the pace for 9:00. I ended up just slightly ahead with an average pace 8:59.
On Wednesday, it was a coyote. Today, a large group of turkeys were feeding on the trail.
