John Cunningham and I went to the Sacramento Kings versus Houston Rockets game. John is my RCIA sponsor.
Late in the 3rd quarter, the Kings lead by 14 points. Amazingly, the Kings were outscored 45 to 20 over the remaining 14 minutes of the game. During an 8-minute stretch in the fourth quarter, Houston scored 17 straight points. The Kings went 4 for 21 in the fourth quarter, including a couple of ugly airballs from Peja and Francisco García. When it was all over, the Kings lost by a score of 106 to 95.
After playing so well for almost three quarters, it was almost as if they sent a different set of players out on to the floor for the fourth quarter...
