2nd Grade: Art Lesson E

Sharon spent part of the afternoon as the art docent for Jack's class. The lesson focused on how an artist uses anticipated movement to depict motion in their works of art. They looked at three genre paintings: Snap the Whip by Winslow Homer; Skating in the Park by Berthe Morisot; and Ballet School by Edgar Degas.







For their art project, they did a rubbing of a figure in motion.
