Jack spent a second afternoon at the try-outs for the Under-9 Select Soccer team. It will be interesting to see how things turn out. There are might be four or five kids who are stand-outs, another 15 or 16 who seem relatively equal and six who are at the bottom end. Jack falls somewhere in the middle group. Selecting a team of 12, I am not sure how they are going to choose between the middle group. All of four of the coaches also have kids in the try-outs and I am not sure whether they are automatically on the team or not.
